Ponte Vecchio
Here we are at Ponte Vecchio that is considered as one of the important Italian restaurants in Osaka and it's not possible to disregard it.
We tried a menu “Planzo” (5250YEN) for lunch, and asked to arrange it to be finished before 2 o'clock pm to get back to work, though it takes two hours usually.
We expected so simple dishes as lunch, but there was wealth of dishes to choose for Primo and Secondo. They arrange the course menu adding their original Antipast.
I was so pleased to have 37 different possibilities to choose the dish, but I was at a loss to decide it. I ordered Timballo of potatoes with caviar which I was pleased so mach last time.
They served a delicious and rich seafood salad as Antipast. Primo was different each other depend on the choice. I enjoyed a generous portion of grilled conger eel with fresh WASABI (Japanese horseradish) and basil. On the other hand, caviar seemed to be smaller and meager compared to another time.
I love melon sorbet for dessert as it was not too sweat. As a whole, I enjoyed the delicious dishes, but I remember it used to be higher quality.
When we walked outside, it was 2 o'clock pm exactly.
Great!!
